Visit Vientiane

by Regin Reyno

The Laotian capital located near the border between Laos and Thailand is one of my favorite cities in Southeast Asia. Its safe and laid-back environment, at the same time intact culture is what I love most about the city. It’s a city so convenient to just walk around from places to places, which carries a heavy weight for me in choosing my favorite cities.

Southeast Asia's Golden Triangle

by Regin Reyno

The meeting point of three countries, Thailand, Burma, and Laos is called the Golden Triangle. It's called "golden" because of the wealth that that area was producing before-the wealth from Poppy plants which are used to produce Opium and its derivatives, Morphine and Heroine.

3 countries at a time, anyone?

Ensuring That You Insure

guest post by Alex Siborn

Travelling abroad can be an exciting time, especially if there are a few of you travelling at the same time. Whether it is a group of friends, your family or a special interest group, travelling can become so much more interesting when you have people to share the time with.

Sanam Chandra Palace

by Regin Reyno

One of the things I love about Thailand is the presence or abundance of historical buildings. As a lover of history, these are the places that I want to visit. I am always amazed at the durability of these buildings, how it was built without modern tools, and of course, the story behind it-how they've lived their lives before.
